I bought myself this bracelet this week because I wanted to inspire myself.
I believe I will reach my goal and this will remind me everyday that I can.
This past week I had a few obstacles to conquer, one being Thanksgiving, and the other a birthday party. I won! I planned ahead, made a mental plan and stuck to it. The results are that I lost 1.6 pounds this week AND reached my 10%! That is a big accomplishment for me. I am one step closer to reaching my 25 pound goal by Christmas, with more to follow. But I take things 1 step at a time.
This week we focused on success and failures this past week and how we can learn from them. We also spoke about how we can reward ourselves with positive thoughts and positive self talk. We also spoke about changing the way we approach our failures or missteps.
I found the meeting to be enlightening and uplifting.
It is nice having a support system around me that is going through the same obstacles as I am. It is also great seeing how they face those obstacles and what they do when they fumble.
Let's face it, we are all human and make mistakes. Some mistakes are big, some are small, but we can learn from them and move on. There is no reason to give up when you fail. Use it as a stepping stone to help advance you to a higher level.
