Fun Family Holiday Trip Ideas In Pennsylvania #visitpa

If you are looking for a fun place to visit for the holidays, look no further than Central, Pennsylvania.

Central Pennsylvania is my home away from home, and there are so many things to do in the area.  Whether you like shopping, tours, amusements or just to relax, there is something for you to do in Central, Pennsylvania.

Here are some of my very favorite places to visit during the holidays in Pennsylvania.   Many of these are traditional visits that my family makes every year.

Koziar's Christmas Village is a beautiful outdoor light display.  In this display you follow along a path of buildings that are adorned with holiday gifts, decorations, Santa's photo shop, snack foods and more.

Christkindlmarkt is a yearly Christmas shop that is located by the Steel Stacks.  Here you can purchase many items made by artisans and sample local wines as well.  Nearby is the town of Bethlehem where you can visit the Moravian church, Christmas Putz, dine at local restaurants and more.

Hershey Park is a local theme park that has rides, Christmas light displays and the Hershey chocolate factory.  There are also local hotels nearby including the Hotel Hershey.  This is a great family fun spot.

    1. Hi Julie,
Christkindlmarkt is only there during the holiday season. You can visit the artsquest.org website and get more information about that and other great events in that area. It is a very artsy part of town with concerts, art shows and more.
