How To Get More Storage Space in Your Home

I will be the first to admit that my kitchen cabinets are loaded to the gills with stuff.  Yes stuff.  I probably don't even know half the stuff that I have in there, to be honest.

It seems that after being in a home for over 20 years, I just seem to have accumulated a lot of stuff and quite frankly, I just don't feel like going through it at this time.  Spring cleaning is coming, so that can be another post.  Ha!

I found a very nice rolling cart on amazon that was very simple to assemble.  I had it together in less than 15 minutes.  It came with all of the tools that I needed to assemble it.  The tools were an allen wrench and mini wrench.

The cart has decent size shelves and wheels which lock and unlock.  It is a nice height and looks attractive.  I can also use it as a rolling bar or to serve guests during get togethers.  I am looking forward to using it during the holidays to wheel my food over to the dining room, so I don't have to make a bunch of trips.

Here are some photos of my construction of the cart

Carts are a great way to add storage to a home.  They are very versatile pieces of furniture.  This one does not take up a lot of space.  It can be used indoor and outdoor.  It would be nice for holding plants.

  1. I know how you feel. I have the same problem. This is really nice. I wish we had the room for one of these.

  2. I love the idea of getting extra storage room. I feel so cramped and admit that I tend to just put things in the closet just to store them out of the way.
