I love face masks. They are a great way to show my skin some love and they make me feel pampered. After a long day, I find it very relaxing to apply a face mask and let it do its work.
A month ago, I was sent two Mud Masks to try. These particular Mud Masks are from Blessed Nature. The masks I received are a Dead Sea Mud Mask and a Seaweed Mud Mask.
I wanted to know the different benefits of each of these mud masks, so I decided to do some research, which I am sharing with you.
From what I gathered, the Dead Sea Mud Mask is great for drawing out impurities, oils and toxins in the pores. This is a great benefit for all, especially those with oily skin.
The Seaweed Mask is good for moisturizing, exfoliating, detoxifying and hydrating skin. If you have dry skin, this is beneficial for you.
If you have combination skin, you can use both of these products if you want to get a better balance in your skin.
I have combination skin which leans more toward the dry side. I love these masks! They are so simple to use and feel so good on my face. Wearing them was like being at a spa in my home. I found that using a small paint brush made the process of applying them easier for me and I have to admit it was fun too. The best part about using the brush is that it gave me a nice even, thin coat that dried evenly.
The masks don't really have a scent, so they weren't irritating or annoying to wear. I like applying my mask about 20 minutes before I shower, so it is easy to just wash it off in there. You can apply your mask any time you would like day or night. It is entirely up to you. Some may prefer to do their masks at night to wash the impurities out. Some may find it better to start their day with a fresh feeling face. You decide what works best for you.
If you are looking for a way to pamper your skin, that won't break your purse and has multiple uses, you should check out Blessed Nature. They also make a coffee body scrub with dead sea salt that sounds amazing!
