In honor of National Breast Feeding Month I wanted to inform you of a website that provides a lot of useful and essential information about breast feeding. The website is USBC, The US Breastfeeding Committee. Not only do they supply standard information, but also have essential information on emergency preparedness, special circumstances, support, and Black Breastfeeding Week. This page is a great source of resources for mothers and caretakers.
Last month I had the pleasure of attending Babypalooza. Babypalooza is an event that features keynote speakers and brands that focus on everything baby.
One of the products that really caught my eye at the event was Nanobebe's award winning breastmilk bottle. I had never seen anything like it and found it to be a genius product. I would like to tell you a bit about it.
First, I would like to say that in my opinion, this would be a perfect gift for any new mom or mom to be. The bottle is designed in the shape of a women's breast and is also designed so that it could be easily held by baby and give them the sensation of drinking from their mommy.
This award winning breast milk bottle is perfect for mother's who work or travel away from home and would like to have their baby experience their breast milk in a comforting way. These bottles warm 2x faster than standard bottles because of their design.
The bottle is designed to preserve breast milk nutrients. It is also a great way to transition baby from breast to bottle. The bottles come with a breast pump adapter that allows moms to express their breast milk directly to the bottle. This allows you to then store the bottles directly in the fridge or freezer and since they are stackable, they take up less space.
The bottle has specially designed 360 degree vented silicone nipples that are designed to reduce colic.
These bottles are currently available at Buy Buy Baby, Bed Bath and Beyond, Amazon (affiliate link), Target and boutiques world wide.
Nanobebe has created a starter kit for moms that has all of the essentials needed. It even includes 2 of their flexy pacifiers. The pacifiers are designed to calm and sooth newborn babies from day one. They are made of safe BPA-free silicone. They are soft, lightweight and durable and because of their design, will easily stay in baby's mouth. The pacifiers are made of a one-piece of construction that meets the standards of the American Academy of Pediatrics Guidelines. The pacifier nipple shape also promotes healthy oral development and discourages nipple confusion when breast feeding. There are various frame colors available to choose from which include: white, teal, grey and pink.
