Helpful Tips

Labels help you to organize containers that you can't see in.  Be sure to label all of your boxes and containers for easy access.

Chore charts are a great way to keep the kids on track.  Feel free to copy and print this Mary Poppins chore chart by right clicking on it and printing it. Click here to save and print this! https://docs.google.com/document/d/1iyweidM8oFXhlDnHh_Wg-QAi87Q02uG92v96vZ6HOzI/edit?usp=sharing

Get fun letter stickers and make fun signs along with the kids, including signs with their names on them in an area you would like them to keep their things. This gives them a sense of accomplishment and also responsibility.

Keep some empty spray bottles in the home and make your own safe to use natural cleaning solutions.  A little vinegar and water goes a long way!

Pour ½ cup white vinegar into a full-sized spray bottle. Add 2 tablespoons of baking soda. Fill the bottle with tepid water and shake well. Cover the vinegar scent by adding a few drops of essential oils.

Good gloves make a big difference.  These scrubby gloves are great for cleaning sinks, dishes and counter tops!

Scouring pads are perfect for stuck on messes, but make sure to get ones that don't scratch.  Test surfaces in an inconspicuous area first!

Keep a small caddy with note pads and pens handy so you can take messages and leave notes for your family.  They are also great for holding cell phones, keys and other items you don't want to misplace!
