My First Week Back at Weight Watchers #roadtosuccess #weightwatchers

Starting from scratch....

I found it pretty ironic that the focus of the meeting this week had to do with starting a blank canvas and embracing change.  After all,  I was heading off course, back down the road to failure and caught myself before I got to where I was before.

The meeting went well.  In the back of my mind I kept waiting for the leader to say, let's all welcome Patty back!  She was slacking for 4 months, but caught herself.  Of course, she would never do that.  But, my mind demons seem to think the worse at times.

I saw a lot of the people who have been on the program and stuck with it, since  I left.  Many looked so much leaner. I wanted to kick myself for not sticking to it, but I am not going to beat myself up.  Instead I use them as an inspiration to succeed, even more.

I am making sure to track my food every day.  I decided to go the online app route this time, so that it is easier for me to search my foods and track the points. Looking them up was OK, but the app is so much more convenient.  I don't have to carry around the booklet or waste time figuring out what to eat.  I can just search foods and track them immediately or even track ahead of time so that I know my points for other meals.  I just have to really force myself to drink more water.  I am not a big water person.   Everyone says that drinking water makes a big difference.

I have to admit, I am happy to be back in the program again.  It keeps me accountable for my actions and gives me structure.  I need that in my life, especially when it comes to my diet.

There is a light at the end of the tunnel.  I just have to get there.

I will be sure to keep you up to date on my progress and use my posts to motivate myself and some of you, I hope.

Welcome to my journey.  Enjoy the ride.
