Self-Care Tips for Caregivers

Taking care of aging family members can be challenging, especially if you have a family of your own to look after. If you don’t have any support or assistance, it can become incredibly overwhelming. What To Do If You Knock Out a Tooth

Knocking out a tooth is more common than you might think. It happens all the time with kids, and sometimes adults, especially while playing sports. While you can never predict the loss of a tooth, also called a dental avulsion , it's good to know what to do should it occur. Solitaire Bliss Promotes Equality in a Fun New Way

I love playing card games.  Cards are one of my favorite ways to pass time when I’m feeling bored or looking for ways to challenge my mind in a fun way.  Solitaire Bliss is a fun website with free card games for you to play any time and any where.   The newest card game mode created on the Solitaire Bliss is Equality mode.  The way it works, is the K, Q and J are replaced with 13, 12 and 11.  This was created after a new employee named Renee questioned why the King’s value was worth more than the Queen’s.  She then pointed out that Queen Elizabeth would never be stacked under a king.  With that being said, the team over at Solitaire Bliss started working on more options for players who may feel the same as Renee.  Now you can choose King First or Queen First, in Equality mode, when playing on the site. There are lots of fun card games available on the Solitaire Bliss website including some of my favorites, that I often  played in my office during downtime or when on vacation during

Coping with a Breakup from a Live-in Partner

Breaking up with someone is never easy, but when you have been in a long-term partnership and have been sharing a home with that person it ’ s even harder. You may have even stayed in the relationship longer than you should have because of your living situation which can make things more complicated. If you have recently split from your live-in partner and are not sure what to do or where to go, here are some tips that might help you get through this tough time a little easier.  Get Some Space After any breakup, it ’ s important to  get space from your ex . You need time to grieve the relationship, and that can ’ t be done properly if they ’ re still hanging around. This doesn ’ t mean you can ’ t both be friends in the future if this is something you both want, but it will take time to adjust to this new dynamic between the two of you. Ask if you can stay with a friend or relative temporarily until new living arrangements can be organized to create some physical space between you.  St
