Benefits of Weighted Blankets

You may be wondering what weighted blankets are.  They are blankets that are usually filled with plastic or glass pellets to add weight to them.  They usually range in weight from 4 to 25 lbs.  These blankets are usually chosen by comparing your own weight.

I tend to toss and turn a lot when I sleep.  Most of the time it is from chronic pain, but I found that sleeping with the Therapedic weighted blanket, I tended to toss and turn less.  I found that it does give me a sensation of being "hugged".  While, I would personally use a heavier weight blanket based on my weight, I found that the one that I received,  was very nice and I enjoyed the sensation of the blanket.  So, I would say that it is all a matter of preference as to weight you choose, as well.  This type of blanket  was something that I always wanted to try and I am glad that I did.  I heard so many positive things about weighted blankets, and I can concur with them.
