Seriously?!! My #WeightWatchers Journey - Week 21

Guess who counted calories, did extra walking, drank all her water and gained a 1/2 lb. this week?  This girl! (insert scream here)

Ok, seriously, I didn't freak out at all.  These things happen on occasion.  Like I have said before, there are up weeks, down weeks, some little, some big,  It all works out in the long run, provided we stay  on track.  It doesn't mean I am not disappointed, however I am not discouraged.

Little things can cause slight gains. Being a woman, I am sure you know what some may be. Sometimes water retention, constipation, sodium intake, muscle growth, hormones, medical reasons etc.  Whatever the reason may be, it can be fixed.   Just pay closer attention to your body, diet and exercise.  If the scale goes up again, have a talk with your doctor, dietician, or WW coach.  Let them see if there is anything that needs to be adjusted.

In the mean time, you can try moving a bit more, drinking more water, eating less sodium and making sure to track everything you eat and drink to be sure.

This week's meeting was an extension of last week.  We talked a lot about being aware of what we eat, how much we eat and keeping track of all of the foods we eat including anything we may just taste, sample, bite or sip.   Those little nibbles can add up quicker than you think and before you know it, you can be consuming an extra 4 or more points a day.  Over the course of a week, that can be an entire 28 points !

This week, I am focusing on my water intake and I am going to keep up with what I have been doing all along.  I got in more steps last week, so I want to be sure to do that this week as well.

What I won't be doing is sulking about today.  New mind set, better results.

Have a great week.  I know I will!
