Celebrate Valentine's Day with Precious Moments

Everyone knows how much I love my Precious Moment figurines.  They are a huge part of my life and I have been collecting them for almost 30 years.  

This Valentine's day I was asked to choose a Precious Moments piece that most represented my relationship and found the perfect piece.  It is titled "You're My Favorite Place To Be".  The title is such a bold and true statement for me.  I have been with my husband since I was a teenager... almost 40 years!  We are at a point in our lives that we are complacent just being in the same room with eachother, even if we aren't saying a word.  No matter where I am, or if I am away for long periods of time, I always look forward to being with him again.  He truly is my favorite person to be with and favorite place to be.

I love all of the little details of this piece.  The man holding his remote or cell phone as if he's flipping through channels or apps,  as his girl rests her head on his lap watching TV.  The family pets are staying close by wanting attention.  The kitty laying on mommy's legs and the puppy popping his little head up looking for attention.  It is just such a darling piece.
