Northern New Jersey Restaurants Are Feeding Those on Front Lines

Feed New Jersey’s healthcare workers on the frontlines of the coronavirus pandemic

Sofia Restaurant of Englewood, New Jersey has taken the initiative and feeding healthcare workers who are on the frontline fighting Covid-19 in New Jersey. Since the start of Feedthefrontlinesnj.org, there have been 1,500 meals delivered to healthcare workers at Englewood Health, Holy Name, Hackensack-Meridian and Valley Hospital.

Inspired by Feed the Frontlines New York, Eddy Sujak of Sofia Restaurant in New Jersey initiated the same concept for New Jersey.  Feed the Frontlines New Jersey’s mission is to raise funds for the extraordinary efforts of New Jersey’s healthcare workers while supporting local restaurants and their employees. With the help of the community, restaurants Sofia, Giovanni’s Bicycle Club, Axia Taverna, Bennie’s - along with other local restaurants who would like join this effort – will insure healthcare workers are delivered free meals.  Donors can select the restaurant and designate which medical institution they would like to donate meals to by visiting feedthefrontlinesnj.org.  By contributing to this effort, you are creating opportunities for the restaurant employees who are preparing and distributing free meals for hospital workers around New Jersey.  We hope you will join us in this effort to keep New Jersey healthy and well fed.
