The Silver&Fit® Healthy Aging and Exercise Program Are Perfect for Me

Being active and staying fit are important to me.  I love to take long walks and love to exercise, but I do not enjoy the gym atmosphere. Also, with Covid and other restrictions, being in a gym doesn’t feel right to me at this time. 

I enjoy the Silver&Fit® Healthy Aging and Exercise program Silver&Fit’s Fit at Home Program.  It is designed for people who are getting older and offers online classes on their Facebook and YouTube channels that I can take at my own leisure, from the comfort of my own home.  The classes are free to take, and there is a great variety of options and fitness levels.  To me,  they offer the best exercise program for people who are getting older.

I like to mix up my workouts, so one day I may take an aerobics class, another day do some light weight training, and another do some relaxing Tai Chi. 

Yesterday, I took the Intermediate Strength/Bodyweight class with Penny on the Silver&Fit Facebook page.  It was great! Best of all, I took it a few hours after the class went live, so I was able to rewind and listen to instruction and watch format so that I could do everything properly.  However, the instructor was so thorough and clear, that I could’ve taken the class live and did just fine.  Tomorrow, I’m going to be taking the Intermediate Dance class with Beth.  I love dancing, and being able to do it in my living room will allow me to feel comfortable and relaxed.  Then, I want to try a little Yoga.  I find it to be so relaxing and helps me find my center.

I really enjoy all of the class options available from Silver&Fit.  What I enjoy also is that the classes are free to take online and are geared toward my age group. I get to interact with other people my age, and the instructors are great!

  3. This is so awesome that you found a fitness program that you enjoy! I was a fitness instructor at a gym since 2008. However, after breaking my foot last year and unable to walk, and then COVID, I have really been enjoying working out at home. It also helps to workout at home since I have been teaching both of my daughters at home during COVID.
