Arlington, VA – September 07, 2021 – This September, PBS Distribution will be adding back-to-school specials from ARTHUR and HERO ELEMENTARY, as well as new volumes of ELINOR WONDERS WHYXAVIER RIDDLE AND THE SECRET MUSEUM, and READY JET GO! to the PBS KIDS Prime Video Channel. Children can now see Arthur, after 25 years, move up to fourth grade at his school. In HERO ELEMENTARY, it's our heroes' first day at Hero Elementary, they all meet each other and Mr. Sparks. ELINOR WONDERS WHY encourages preschoolers to follow their thirst for knowledge and find answers using science inquiry skills, XAVIER RIDDLE AND THE SECRET MUSEUM shows children how to tackle everyday problems through meeting historical figures when they were kids and learning about the character skills that helped shape their vision, and READY JET GO! introduces kids to space, Earth science, and technology.

It’s our heroes’ first day at Hero Elementary. They meet each other and Mr. Sparks for the first time and learn about a superpower that everyone shares: the Superpower of Science. Then Sparks’ Crew goes on its first mission -- catching a baby hamster that is zipping around town at super-fast speed, causing chaos in the community. Unable to catch it, they have to find a way to get this little blur of fur to come to them. It looks like this will be the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

Elinor and her class are painting outdoors with the town's enthusiastic art teacher, Mr. Lion, when they all run out of paint in "A Change of Art/The Litterbug." The kids begin to experiment with natural items and discover that nature is full of colors. Then, in "The Unsinkable Lynx/Rocky the Rock," it’s a very snowy day and Elinor, Ari and Olive meet a new friend, Gael the lynx. Plus, on a camping trip, the kids discover that Ari is great at playing Marco Polo in "Echo Location/Ears to You."
 

XAVIER RIDDLE AND THE SECRET MUSEUM, Volume 9

Rukmini Devi shows Xavier and Yadina why their annual family walk is so special in "I Am Rukmini Devi Arundale/I Am Bob Ross." Then, Bob Ross teaches Yadina about happy accidents. Plus, in "I Am Jigonsaseh/I Am Sacagawea," Jigonsaseh inspires the pals to stop arguing, while Sacagawea helps Xavier and Brad realize they shouldn’t misjudge Yadina. Later, a playdate with Fred Rogers helps Xavier understand that he’s a special person who’s liked just the way he is, in "I Am Fred Rogers."
 

READY JET GO!: Back to Bortron 7
