Learn STEAM with Carrera-Revell Racing Sets

STEAM is an important approach to education. It combines science, tech, engineering, arts and math. It also helps children learn problem solving in a different approach.

Growing up, I’ve always been intrigued by race cars.  I remember sitting with my dad and watching races on television.  He loved Mario Andretti.  I remember being so fascinated by how fast the cars were. I often wondered how they are able to take the twists and turns of the tracks at such high speeds.

When my son was little he had a fascination with race cars as well.  We use to take him to the races with us, and he loved his race sets and race cars.  He would sit and play with them for hours every day.  The faster a car was, the happier he was.

Carrera-Revell of America, the leading producer of slot racing sets has three new racing sets that help introduce STEAM to children as they learn to engineer in a simple way as they build these tracks and discover how the different curves and banks help hold the races car on the track at high speeds. Some of these sets include familiar Mario Kart characters.

I received the Carrera MarioKart Racing set and it is so well made.  The set is battery operated, but can be upgraded to and electrically run set when you purchase the electrical accessories. The set comes with two cars, Mario and Luigi, and everything needed to race. The set is simple to assemble and so fun to race.  It brings back a lot of memories for me.

Hey, just because we are adults, doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy playing with toys.
