Monday, Dec. 5 with Festive Cartoonito Specials,
a New "Teen Titans Go!" Santa Adventure, and Throwbacks of Classic Series

Offers Families Winter-Themed DIY Challenges to
Encourage a Sustainable Holiday Season

 



The holidays on Cartoon Network will be merry and bright this year with a full month of new episodes, specials, and classic series throwbacks. 

The celebration kicks off Monday, Dec. 5 with a programming block of new themed episodes from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. ET/PT. Preschoolers will enjoy a cheerful morning filled with super-sized half-hour holiday specials of “Batwheels,” “Bugs Bunny Builders,” “Sesame Street Mecha Builders,” and “Thomas & Friends: All Engines Go.” 

Daily airings of classic "Teen Titans Go!" holiday episodes will follow at 5:00 p.m. ET/PT, leading into an all-new episode on Friday, Dec. 9 titled, "The Great Holiday Escape." In this new episode, the Teen Titans must help Santa Claus escape a tricky situation or risk ruining Christmas for everyone.

For the rest of the month, fans can take a trip down memory lane with holiday-themed episodes of Cartoon Network classic series airing every Friday night from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. ET/PT beginning Friday, Dec. 9. Featured series include "Adventure Time," "Apple & Onion," "Clarence," "Courage the Cowardly Dog," "Dexter's Laboratory," "Ed, Edd n Eddy," "Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends," "Steven Universe," "The Amazing World of Gumball," "The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy," "The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack," "The Regular Show," "Uncle Grandpa," and "We Bare Bears."

The December lineup continues with family favorites on Cartoon Network’s ACME Night every Sunday at 6:00 p.m. ET/PT. Movies will include "Scoob!" (Sunday, Dec. 4), “Power Rangers” (Sunday, Dec. 11), “Shazam!” (Sunday, Dec. 18), and “The Wizard of Oz” (Sunday, Dec. 25).

Cartoon Network’s holiday celebration will culminate on New Year’s Eve with the "2023 New Year's Gumball Drop” marathon of "The Amazing World of Gumball." Episodes of the fan-favorite series will air Saturday, Dec. 31 leading into New Year's Day from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. ET/PT.

"Christmas Mountain" — It's Christmas time in Sodor and every engine is excitedly preparing for the holiday, especially Bruno who is excited to put his star on the tree. It's his tradition! When the Christmas tree can't be delivered, Thomas and Percy learn why traditions are important to Bruno. They get creative to keep a disappointed Bruno's holiday spirit bright, ultimately transforming Lookout Mountain into the best -- and biggest -- replacement "tree!" Thomas, Percy, and Bruno are joined by their friends to decorate, sing, and celebrate the tradition together!

"Good as New" — While out on a delivery to Whiff's Recycling Plant with his beloved buddy Boxy in tow, Thomas realizes that his pal is on his last crooked axle. Inspired by Whiff's talent in turning junk into useful inventions, Thomas recruits Percy to help him on a scrap scavenger hunt so they can make Boxy as good as new! However, mending the broken boxcar proves to be harder than Thomas thought, but with guidance from Whiff and his "secret formula," Thomas and friends reduce, reuse, recycle, and rethink to transform Boxy into a rolling repurposed wonder!

"More Than a Pretty Engine"  After a fierce storm causes a rockslide in Crumble Canyon, mountain engine Ashima is eager to clean and clear the chaos with her new friends. However, Thomas and the others are concerned: if Ashima were to help them, the mucky mess could ruin her beautiful paint! When the friends' fussiness prevents Ashima from working with the team, she has to prove to Thomas and the others that they shouldn't judge her by her appearance.

"Snowplow Struttin'"  Thomas is thrilled -- Sir Topham Hatt has given him a snowplow in preparation for a big storm on the way, and the Number One Engine is ready to show off his skills! But when he is assigned to guide Diesel and Percy on their deliveries in case of snow, Thomas learns that he needs to use his plow responsibly for his friends and their tasks!

"Yip Yip Tree Tree/The Snowman Scarecrow" — When the ornaments on the Pretty Big City tree break, the Mechas must build new ones and save the holidays for their friends./It’s time for Zee and MacBarm’s gift exchange, but the snowman scarecrow Zee made for MacBarm keeps blowing away!

"Holidays on Ice" — Frustrated by the Batwheels’ distracting affinity for holiday festivities, Batwing decides to “go solo” to thwart Mr. Freeze’s evil Christmas-time plots. However, Batwing and the Batwheels soon realize that stopping Mr. Freeze is much harder when they all aren’t working together as a team.

Also, catch a holiday-themed episode of "Lellobee City Farm" and "Blippi Wonders" during Cartoonito’s weekday programming block.

When she offers to take Tango to her checkup, Gabrielle meets a veterinarian who helps animals by making sure they are healthy… and finally realizes what job she wants to do! Gabrielle also learns that if you work hard and practice, you can do anything you want.

"Bert's Bike Time with Luis" — After Bert’s training wheels break, Luis and Ernie help their friend gain the confidence to ride his bike without them.

"Happy Hair Day" — Elmo and his friends are singing about something that makes each of them special: their hair! Tamir and Charlie realize one thing they both have that makes them special is their curly hair, while Elmo sings about how his red and fluffy fur is something that makes him special. Then, Prairie Dawn and Mia join in, and they all sing together about how hair is part of what makes each of them special no matter how it grows.

"Rudy's Favorite Sweater" — When Rudy’s favorite sweater no longer fits, Nina suggests having a clothing drive, so everyone in the neighborhood can donate clothes that they don’t need to those who do. Later, Rudy’s sweater goes to a little girl, who is very excited to wear it!

"How to Catch a Robot Dog" — Norbert’s robot dog, Alfred, is making odd sounds and not following directions. Elmo and Tamir need to push Alfred’s reset button, but he keeps running away. After a toy ball and doggie treats don’t work, they wonder what else could be used to catch Alfred. What if they make a fishing pole with a magnet? Magnets attract and stick to metal and Alfred is made of metal! Let’s try! It works. They didn’t give up and caught Alfred to make him sound like himself again.
