I love New York City. It’s true what they say about it. It really is a city that never sleeps.  There is so much hustle and bustle, and so many fun and adventurous things to do.  It’s loud, full of traffic, fast paced and exciting.

New York is a great place to live and work, for anyone who loves a fast paced and high profile lifestyle.  It is filled with many beautiful sky scrapers and buildings that are bustling with businesses.   Im sure the city’s Top Commercial Agents must keep busy with all of the different entrepreneurs who frequently move into the area, seeking to bring their businesses into this densely populated region.

The weather in New York can be extreme at times. The summers here can get very hot with temperatures in the high 80s to 90s and lots of humidity, and the winters can be very cold with ice and snow storms. Spring and Fall are short, so expect to go from one extreme to another.

If you are planning to work or live in the city, there are a few things you should know. First and foremost, mass transit is the best way to get to where you are going.  The city has a lot of buses, taxis and subways to take you anywhere you want to go. Owning a vehicle in the city, isn’t exactly easy or affordable.  There are lots of bridge and tunnel tolls, limited parking spaces, and expensive garage fees. It just makes more sense to use the mass transit.

If you are a foodie, you will love it here.  New York City is a giant melting pot of  nationalities and there are great eateries including delis, restaurants, pop ups and food trucks every where you turn.  I personally love visiting Little Italy.  They have some great authentic Italian food from different regions of Italy. When I walk through the streets of Little Italy, I just smell my grandma’s cooking and it brings back so many great memories. There are also some delicious bakeries, including Junior’s, who makes some of the most delicious cheese cakes I’ve ever had.

Another great part of the city to visit if you love good food is Chinatown. Here you will find some of the most delicious Chinese food I especially love visiting the Dim Sum Palace. They have some of the most authentic Cantonese foods. If quick bites are more your style, you may enjoy visiting some of the great delis in New York City like cats deli they’ve been a staple in the city for years and make some of the most delicious pastrami and corned beef sandwiches you’ll ever have.  However, plan on waiting a little while to be served because the lines are long.

If you love arts and entertainment, he will love the theater district in New York City where they have so many great musicals, and please set a performed daily. You can also catch some great musical  groups performing around the city. You may even catch a pop up concert in the park or Times Square from time to time. If art is more your forte, there are many unique museums around the city, including the Metropolitan of Modern Art, which is spectacular and the Guggenheim, which features so many beautiful art and sculpture pieces. I can spend hours at both.

If shopping is your thing, there is not a shortage of shops here in New York City. There are jewelry districts, fashion districts, Times Square, the Oculus Mall, thrift stores, huge, shopping stores, like Macy’s, small mom and pop shops and so much more.

Getting exercise in New York City isn’t as difficult as you may think if you visit the West Side Highway there are bike paths, walking paths, running paths, and gyms. You can  hit some golf over by the Hudson River. Do you like boating? You can rent out a sailboat down by the Hudson River or you can even take a cruise around Manhattan.

For a relaxing day, you can spend a day in Central Park, take a horse and carriage ride, ride the carousel,  take a pedicab tour. During winter months you can ice skate and snowshoe in the park.

People are always looking for high quality commercial real estate in the city. Can you imagine how busy the Top Commercial Agents in New York City must be, finding prime real estate for all of these wonderful businesses? I can only imagine how tedious their jobs are, but someone has to do it.

Speaking of real estate, if you are looking to live in the city, the rent isn’t cheap. We have some of the highest real estate prices in this area and our utilities are more expensive too. Most apartments here are pretty compact, but are enough to live in. There are many studio apartments, high rise apartment buildings, brownstones and homes throughout the five boroughs of New York.  A lot of people find it more affordable if they share their apartment with a friend.

Getting back to entertainment in New York City, one of the strongest fan bases are here.  We love our sports and love our sports teams Whether you love baseball, football, hockey or soccer, we have high profile teams that generate so much excitement and enthusiasm here in the city. They’re a huge part of many of our lives.

If you love arts, culture, sports, food, entertainment and entrepreneurship.  New York City is the perfect place for you.
