Mark This World Autism Awareness Day With Two Products Aimed at Helping Kids on the Spectrum Fidget For Focus

World Autism Awareness Day on April 2 is a valuable time to reflect on understanding and accepting people with autism. Here are two worthy products on Amazon geared for those on the autism spectrum, including kids diagnosed with ADHD as the brand’s founder was growing up.

This post contains Amazon affiliate links. As an Amazon affiliate, I receive a small incentive, whenever purchases are made using my links.

  • The Hoglet by HedgeHog Health (Amazon affiliate link) ($39.99) is a wireless mouse that allows kids to fidget while learning in front of the screen.
    • Soft, cuddly, and friendly, it looks like a baby hedgehog!
    • It’s the first computer mouse to combine fun and functionality, specifically designed for learning-challenged kids. (Traditional pointing devices lack the physical stimulation many require.)
    • It’s fun to look at, hold, and use, available in vibrant colors, including blueberry, watermelon, lime, apricot, and grape.

  • HedgeHog Fidget Keychain Amazon Affiliate link ($14.97) - An easy-to-carry, sensory fidget tool you can take anywhere for instant stress and anxiety relief.
    • It features a mini hoglet design that comes in handy anytime you need a  multisensory experience so you can focus longer at home, school, or work.
    • The first tactile keychain that is attractive and pleasant to the touch, allowing sensory seekers to feel calm and relaxed.
    • Hang it on your favorite bag for an on-the-go sensory break.
I love these fidget keychains. The bristle texture is soothing and satisfying to fidget with.  I enjoy that it also provides sound as it’s fidgeted with.  I find it relaxing. The keychains are made from a material that is comfortable to hold and fits nicely in hand.

HedgeHog Health founder and educator Parker Lynch struggled with ADHD during childhood. Today, he caringly dedicates himself to helping kids with learning differences. With  a dual master’s degree in special education and childhood education, Parker spent 10 years teaching at schools and five years researching, testing, and experimenting to create The Hoglet.

Learning is different for every child. HedgeHog Health reimagines autism care to deliver solutions that improve a child’s progress.
