Easy Beer Can Chicken with Cave Tools Beer Can Chicken Rack #recipe #gotitfree

I always felt that beer can chicken would be intimidating to make.  Then I was asked to review the Cave Tools Beer Can Chicken Roasting Rack.

The set up is quick and simple and I was able to assemble it in only a few minutes. 

The rack comes with vegetable spikes, so that corn and potatoes can easily be roasted along with the chicken.  However, I chose not to use them this time.

Once assembled,  I added my beer can chicken spice inside the can (I used the Weber beer can chicken seasoning)

Next, I filled the tin with beer, according to directions provided

For my chicken I rubbed the beer can chicken seasoning all over it and placed it on top of the rack.  

I then placed the chicken on my grill for 1-1/2 hours over medium temperature with the lid closed.

Then chicken browned beautifully

After cooking, I allowed the chicken to sit about 10 minutes and then carefully removed it from the rack with gloves.

I then carved and served the chicken to my family.

I must say that the chicken was moist and juicy and delicious.  The entire process was so easy and fool proof.  I was so happy with the outcome.  The can in the middle locks in place, so it doesn't topple over when you are pulling the chicken off of it.. Also, the tray holds the drippings, so I took  them out and put them in a pan to make gravy.   The pan cleans very easily because it is stainless steel.
