Scholarships Help Students Reduce Debt

It is that time of year for students to visit colleges and start thinking of ways to help afford the cost of paying for their education.  We all know how expensive a college education can be.  Fortunately there are ways to help ease the burden of a college education cost.

There are many scholarship programs available for students to apply to.  You just have to do the legwork of finding the scholarships to apply for.

Here is a list of some scholarships that students can apply for, along with a little synopsis about each scholarship.   Most of the scholarships usually require a short essay that applies to a question or subject that is presented by the Scholarship awarding organization or individual.

The Rusty Tweed scholarship was created to encourage High School seniors purse their dream of getting a college degree. You can apply for their $1000 scholarship if you have been accepted into a college or university or are already attending.

The Mark Alvarado Scholarship was created to help future generations afford the education they need to survive adulthood. Mark Alvarado has made it his mission to help one student each year. Student must be a High School senior who has been accepted to a college/university, or a current college or university student that has not reached their final year in their degree.

The JMD Furniture Scholarship was created with students in mind. JMD Furniture understands that college prices are always going up and wanted to contribute $1000 per year to help students lower the fee for their education. Student must be a High School senior who has been accepted to a college/university, or a current college or university student that has not reached their final year in their degree.

The Chrissy Weems Scholarship has been created to help future entrepreneurs and future small business owners of our world. It is open to all High School seniors who have been selected to attend a college or university, as well as current college students.

The National Debt Reduction Services Scholarship has been created to help students avoid racking up massive amounts of debt in order to obtain their desired degree. It is open to all High School seniors who have been selected to attend a college or university, as well as current college students.

The All Year Cooling Scholarship was created to help future leaders with high cost of education. It is open to all High School seniors who have been selected to attend a college or university, as well as current college students.

The Associates Home Loan Scholarship was created with future leaders in mind to help aid them with the rising costs of a college education to help one student lower their tuition expenses by $1000 and to help educate the future self employed individual about their options when it comes to self employed loans and alternative credit options.

I hope students are encouraged to apply for all of these scholarships.  I think it is wonderful that these companies and individuals offer them to students.  I also encourage students to research other local and regional scholarships that are available.  A little hard work can pay off.  Good luck!
