Save Money and Make Beautiful Bows Easily with Bowdabra

I love to decorate for the holidays and love pretty bows, but not the price of them.  Recently, I was sent a Bowdabra bow maker to try out.  I had heard of it before and always wanted to try it out for myself, so when the opportunity arose, I gladly accepted.

Many of you know that I am a crafter and love to make things by hand and decorate.  One thing that I am not so great at is wrapping gifts.  I have a confession, I am one of those people who gives all of their gifts in bags.

Now that I tried out the Bowdabra, I plan on making pretty bows to put on all of my gift bags, gifts and even on gift boxes.  I even made a bow for a wine bottle to make it more festive for gift giving.

Check out my video of my first experience with Bowdabra:

How simple was that?  Now I want to buy all types of wire ribbon for my Bowdabra!  I’m hooked on it! Here are a couple of examples of bows I made:

About the Bowdabra:

The Bowdabra was invented by Sandy Sadler.  Sandy had a basket making business and felt “bow-challenged”.  She wanted to make professional looking bows to place on her baskets.  After all, a gift basket is not complete without a bow.  Sandy tried gift and craft trade shows, where she tirelessly watched demonstrators attempt to teach bow making.  She even tried out other bow makers on the market and wasn’t happy with the results.  That is when she decided to make the Bowdabra.

Bowdabra is an inexpensive “good-proof” bow maker.  It’s designed to make someone who is bow challenged or creatively challenged and transform them into a creative pro.

Other uses for Bowdabra include up cycling old holiday wreaths and decorations.

There are three different sized Bowdabra makers available including: large, mini and hair bow maker.    Just think of all of the cute hair bows you can make and they are so on trend right now.

You can find Bowdabra at Amazon (affiliate link), Walmart.com, craft stores like Hobby Lobby and Michaels and of course online at Bowdabra.com as well.

Be sure to download the free Bowdabra app and check out their YouTube channel for even more inspiration, DIY videos and project ideas.

  2. I don't think my gift wrapping is too bad but I am terrible at making bows. This would be such a great thing to have for making my gifts look nice and for bows for my granddaughter's hair as well. Thanks for the review.
