Arlington, VA – December 14, 2020 – This holiday season families can stream festive PBS KIDS programs on demand on the PBS KIDS Prime Video Channel. The channel will feature a curated selection of popular PBS KIDS holiday and winter themed episodes for easy viewing. Among this collection of episodes are, Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood: Daniel’s Winter WonderlandPBS KIDS: Happy Holidays!Wild Kratts: A Creature Christmas, and PBS KIDS: Celebrate Hanukkah!. To add to the festivities, for a limited time only, on December 27th (9pm PST) to December 29th (9pm PST) Amazon Prime members who are not yet subscribed to the PBS KIDS Prime Video Channel can do so for only $0.99 for the first month.
 
After the promotion, the subscription to the PBS KIDS Prime Video Channel will renew at $4.99/month with an Amazon Prime or Prime Video subscription. Every purchase supports public television for all.
 
Families can also find full episodes of PBS KIDS series for free on their local PBS stations, the PBS KIDS 24/7 channel and PBS KIDS digital platforms, including pbskids.org and the PBS KIDS Video app.

Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood: Daniel’s Winter Wonderland

It's a snowy day in the Neighborhood, and Daniel Tiger can't wait to play outside. Miss Elaina is coming over to Daniel's house to play in the snow, but before they can go outside, Daniel learns that playtime in the snow is only grr-ific when he can stay warm. Mom Tiger helps Daniel learn how important it is to choose the proper clothes in "A Snowy Day." Then, Daniel, Dad, and Prince Wednesday decide to go sledding, but once they get to the hill and see how tall it is, Daniel and Prince Wednesday get scared. Dad assures them that if they try it a little bit at a time, they might surprise themselves and have a great experience. In “Daniel’s Winter Adventure,” Daniel goes ice skating for the first time, and when he tries it a little bit at a time, he realizes it’s not so hard. Other episodes include: “Neighborhood Nutcracker” and “Baking Mistakes.”

‘Tis the season to bring the family together with some of PBS KIDS' cast of characters for the ultimate holiday collection. Get into the holiday spirit with Caillou, Peg and her sidekick Cat, and Daniel Tiger as they celebrate the most wonderful time of the year. In Caillou's Christmas, it’s a magical time of year for Caillou and these 12 episodes start from the first snow and Christmas Eve, to experiencing many holiday activities for the first time, including visiting Santa, ice skating, and singing Christmas carols. Peg and Cat, in their winter adventures, must work together to save the holidays in "The Flat Woman Problem/The Hanukkah Problem" and "The Christmas Problem," which feature Albert Einstein and Santa Claus. Then, in a special half-hour musical episode of Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, it’s “Snowflake Day!,” Daniel prepares for his big role as the snowflake in the neighborhood’s Snowflake Day Show and all of the neighbors pitch in to make the celebration a true success. In the PBS KIDS: Happy Holidays! collection, these festive stories are perfect for adding a little magic to the holidays.

Wild Kratts: A Creature Christmas

In this PBS KIDS collection, join a few of everyone's favorite PBS KIDS friends as they celebrate Hanukkah. In "Is That Kosher/Never Never Never," Francine’s sharp-tongued grandma, Bubba, is the star of an Arthur episode all about family traditions. Kids can also jump into a SUPER WHY! story with the Super Readers to learn more about the holiday in "Judith's Happy Chanukah." Then in "The Wonderland Problem/The Bat Mitzvah Problem," Peg + Cat land in Wonderland and must start eating berries to grow bigger or smaller in their quest to get Peg's stick back from the Queen of Hearts. Then, Peg and Cat help Tessa's Bat Mitzvah run smoothly by keeping an eye on Uncle Phil, who thinks he can do ten more of everything than he actually can.

  1. My family doesn't celebrate Hanukkah so it is all the more important that there are episodes on PBS so my kids can see what others celebrate (love the diversity learning)!
