Wreaths Across America Schedule

 

Each December on National Wreaths Across America Day, our mission to Remember, Honor and Teach is carried out by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as at more than 2,100 additional locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea and abroad.  

From the Revolutionary War to present day conflicts, our veterans are devoted sons and daughters, father and mothers, sisters and brothers. They come from all backgrounds in life to place those lives in the line for our freedoms. There are millions of individual stories to tell.

Dec. 19th is coming up quick and that means that the WAA virtual convoy is going to be kicking off this upcoming Tuesday the 15th.

Harrington to Ellsworth – Route 1 whole way. 42 miles/55 minutes; includes parade through Ellsworth 

Ellsworth to Winslow – Route 1, Route 137W, Route 202W, Benton Rd., Albion Rd. Route 139W, Benton Ave., Roderick Rd.

Winslow to Portland – local roads to get to 95S, 295S, Exit 22 Freeport, route 1 South into Portland.

Portland to Kittery – Franklin Art, 295S, 95S, Exit 36 Saco, route 1 South into York, detour through York Village, back on Route 1.

Kittery to MA State line – 95S. 

MA State line to Worcester – 95S, 495S, 290. 

Worcester to Branford – 290S, 395S, 95S, Exit 55 to Main St. (Route 1). 

Branford to GWB – 95S. 

GWB to Elizabeth, NJ – 95S, Exit 14 to 78W, Exit 57 to Route 1 & 9.

8:00AM Leave Portland (295, 95, off in Saco, Route 1 South, a small detour through York Village)

10:10AM Arrive at MA State Line

12:30PM Parade through portion of Worcester, MA

3:30PM Arrives at Regal Cinemas, Branford, CT

325 E. Main St. Branford, CT 

7:30PM Cross The George Washington Bridge

Thursday December 17

Elizabeth to Holmdel – 95S, GSP South to Exit 116. 

Holmdel to Claymont, DE – GSP North, 95S, Exit 2 to 322W, cross into PA, 95S, exit 11 to 495S, exit 5 to Route 13S. 

Claymont to Middletown, DE – 95S, exit 4 to DE Route 1S, joins Route 13, Exit 148 – 13S (St. George St.), Lorewood Grove Rd, through traffic circles, right onto Mapleton Ave. 

Middletown to Stevensville, MD – Mapleton Ave., Lorewood Grove Rd., traffic circle, 1^st exit to Jamison Corner rd., Route 301S, Romancoke Rd.
