Ring In the New Year with a Clean and Clutter Free Home

The new year is upon us and it’s time to say good riddance to 2020.  It’s time to start off the new year with a clean slate.

Here are some quick and easy tips to help get your home off to a terrific start in the new year!

Clear out the Christmas debris

Put away your holiday decorations and get  rid of any Christmas decor that is damaged, stained,  hasn’t been used in a couple of years, or you really don’t like anymore.

Floors

Clear any debris from all floors and give them a good sweeping, vacuuming, dusting and cleaning.  Time to clear those pine needles! If you have beautiful wood floors, Scotts Floor Restore is a quick and easy way to rid that dullness and restore shine while protecting your floors.

Wood work

Give all of your wood work a good dusting and polishing.  I like to use my Scott’s Liquid Gold for best results.  I use it on my furniture, Andersen windows, doors and cabinets. It smells really good too!

Walls

Why wait til Spring to wash the walls?  Give them a wipe down now while the weather is cold and bitter, and you’re stuck indoors. This way when Spring rolls around you can just give them a light wash.

Ceiling Fans

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

1. Spray 6 – 8 inches from dirty surface, spread evenly and wipe away! Repeat as needed.
2. For tough messes, let it sit, then wipe away.
3. On wood surfaces follow with Scott’s Liquid Gold Wood Care® to treat and protect.  Not for use on leather, fabrics, glass or mirrors.
