POKÉMON GO AND NEW POKÉMON SNAPCOLLABORATION ANNOUNCED: THE ‘NEW POKÉMON SNAPCELEBRATION’

BELLEVUE, Wash., April 15, 2021 – To celebrate the launch of New Pokémon Snap for Nintendo Switch, Trainers will be able to partake in a special New Pokémon Snap and Pokémon GO crossover event starting April 29! 

The “New Pokémon Snap Celebration” will give Trainers the chance to tackle a new type of research task featuring a Pokémon GO Snapshot theme, catch different Pokémon that are found across New Pokémon Snap’s Lental region, and grab new camera-themed avatar items from the Pokémon GO Style Shop.



Trainers will also be able to encounter the Painter Pokémon, Smeargle, by completing certain research tasks and by checking some of their snapshots’ surroundings. For a limited time, lucky Trainers may even find Shiny Smeargle, so be sure to take a lot of snapshots throughout the New Pokémon SnapCelebration event!

The New Pokémon Snap Celebration event begins Thursday, April 29 at 10:00 a.m. local time and will end Sunday, May 2 at 8:00 p.m. local time.
